Project managers have the responsibility of the planning, procurement, and execution of a project, in any undertaking that has a defined scope, defined start, and a defined finish; regardless of industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles of Project Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Project Manager has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. Planning is instrumental in meeting project deadlines, and many projects fail due to poor planning, Good project managers define the project\u2019s scope and determine available resources. Projects are naturally unpredictable, so good project managers know how to make adjustments along the way as needed before the project reaches its final stages.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Controlling<\/strong><br \/>\nClients usually judge a project\u2019s success or failure on whether it has been delivered on time. Therefore, meeting deadlines are non-negotiable. Good project managers know how to set realistic deadlines, and how to communicate them consistently to their teams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coordinator<\/strong><br \/>\nAs a project manager, he needs to organize events or activities and to negotiate with others in order to ensure they work together effectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leader<\/strong><br \/>\nLeadership is both a research area and a practical skill encompassing the ability of an individual or organization to &#8220;lead&#8221; or guide other individuals, teams, or entire organizations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Communicator<\/strong><br \/>\nAs a Project manager, he is able to convey or exchange information, news, or ideas, especially one who is eloquent or skilled.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Motivating a Project team\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nGood project managers don\u2019t get their teams bogged down with elaborate spreadsheets, long checklists, and whiteboards. Instead, they put their teams front and center.
