The basic idea behind a loop is to automate the repetitive tasks within a program to save time and effort. PHP supports four different types of loops.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 29\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<ul>\n<li>while \u2014 loops through a block of code as long as the condition specified evaluates to true.<\/li>\n<li>do&#8230;while \u2014 the block of code executed once and then the condition is evaluated.
