Group dynamics contains two terms: group and dynamics. Group is basically a bunch of two or more folks. Dynamics comes from Greek word <em>Force. <\/em>\u00a0It was founded by Kurt Lewin to study group decision, group productivity, group interaction, and communication.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Nature:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>It can be described as behavioral features of a group.<\/li>\n<li>It is concerned with the formation of the group, the structure of the group, and the functional process of the group.<\/li>\n<li>Group dynamics are viewed from the perspectives of the internal nature of groups, how they form, their structure and processes, and how they function and affect individual members, other group and the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>and<\/strong> I<strong>mportance:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Security<\/li>\n<li>Status<\/li>\n<li>Self-Esteem<\/li>\n<li>Affiliation<\/li>\n<li>Power<\/li>\n<li>Goal Achievement<\/li>\n<li>Socialization of New Employees<\/li>\n<li>Getting the Job Done<\/li>\n<li>Decision Making<\/li>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Group formation:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Two or more individuals\u00a0 can form a group.<\/li>\n<li>Interacting and interdependent with each others.<\/li>\n<li>Perceive themselves as members of the group.<\/li>\n<li>Come together to achieve particular shared objectives and goals to achieve.<\/li>\n<li>People have similar interest of strive to solve problems together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Characteristics:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>They are listed members join and begin the process of defining the group&#8217;s purpose, structure and leadership.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Storming<\/strong>: Intragroup conflict occurs as individual resist control by the group and disagree over leadership.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Norming:<\/strong> Close relationships develop as the group becomes cohesive and establishes its norms for acceptable behavior.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Performing:<\/strong> A fully functional group structure allows the group to focus on performing the task at hand.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Adjourning:<\/strong> The group
